The incredible Room 19

Today BMPS had their opening assembly for Cook Island Language Week. This week's theme is Kia ng ā  kau parau, kia ranarangatu to tatou reo M ā ori   k ū ki  'Ā irani. Be proud of our reo M ā ori  kūki 'Ā irani and protect its furture!

Today Frederick celebrated his birthday and his super sisters dropped a delicious chocolate log to share with the class. Happy 7th birthday Frederick and thanks for sharing your cake with us in Room 19!

Today we had our first session with Coach Megan who works for CM Sport. She will be working with the junior classes for the next 5 weeks doing FMS skills. The kids loved their first session learning with the rugby balls.

Hello friends and whanau term 3 is nearly upon us. Enjoy your last weekend before term 3 starts because its all ON when you get back to school. Here is a little taster of our learning pathways unit this term with a mega awesome trip to follow up our learning!

Today is the last day of term 2. Room 19 spent a block making some fairy/elf houses. We decided to leave them at school to see if we will get a visit from them during the school holidays!

Today BMPS said a sad farewell to our school social worker Mereana. She has been working here at BMPS for 18 years!!!! Room 19 helped sing the junior school song "You got a friend in me" and we had kids that were acting like the toys from Toy Story. Room 19 even had 4 kids selected to be part of the culture performance group . What a creative bunch we are!!
