Here is some writing that Room 19 would like to share with you about what we have learnt so far about growing seeds and plants. To grow a plant I would need a watering can, sunlight and also space so the seeds do not fight over the sun or the rain. They need some air so it can breathe. Plants needs soil to cover the seeds and roots so it grow when it has had sun and water. After that it will grow bigger and bigger. By Raema Plants need water otherwise they will die. Dog safety with Bark NZ

On Friday BMPS had the pleasure of meeting Heather and her helper Django who is a dog that goes into school and teaches students about dog safety. They were accompanied by two other dogs called Scruffy and Mandy. We learnt about how to approach dogs that we don't know and how important it is to notice some dog behaviours before we go into pat dogs we are not familiar with. Room 19 really enjoyed seeing Django's tricks and think he is a pretty clever dog!

Sports coaching with Coach Rochelle

This term junior school are very lucky to have Coach Rochelle come in from Kolmar to coach the junior school in sports games. Today Room 19 enjoyed our first session of four goal soccer and they learnt about the importance of teams spreading out on the field and not chasing the ball.  They had the best time and can't wait for next week!
