The incredible Room 19

Room 19 worked hard when choosing a female role model and writing a character description about them. We looked at using similes and added some WOW words for extra effect. A big congratulations to the finalists for junior school Neena and Agnes from Room 19  who both chose to write about their mums. Even better news was when we found out there was a WINNER from our class!!! Well done to Agnes for your amazing writing about your mum. You are a super star!

Today the clever room 20 came to our class to help us with a sequencing activity of the Three Little Pigs. Thanks for being the best mini teachers around!

This term junior school is going to be having Sistema lessons. These lessons are led by the music teachers from OMAC and it will give the students an opportunity to learn some basics before they decide they want to continue learning how to play a musical instrument. Here are some pictures of our very first lesson!

On Monday Room 19 were so lucky because they helped celebrate two birthdays. Neena's mum also bought in a delicious chocolate cake to share with the class. Yum yum!
